yay mid term break is here... but i gotta try to bloody catch up on my school work... sigh.. wish it was longer.. wanna shop, eat, drink, bake, movie marathons, stayovers n basically have fun n more fun n more fun n just not go back to skool...
anyway, just some reflections on the med fac so far...
besides all the stress and competition in the fac, i realised there are some stuff that sets them different from other facs...
firstly gotta be the way they dress... ok the guys with the exception of 1 or 2, basically seem like all of them have a common wardrobe wid the usual bermudas, tshirt and sandals or slippers. only a minute few actually look good in this combi...the rest well..haaa basically look the same..
the girls however definitely dress better though more conservatively...and weirdly, most of them dress more formally as compared to girls from other facs. i mean even their tank tops arent your usual casual kinds..they are somehow slightly semiformal. dunno y..but maybe it's cuz most of the students here are in a family of docs and probably expected to dress more maturedly and demurely? plus u'll probably see really branded attire among certain girls in our fac too..i dare say those are likely to be the daughters of docs or rich business parents.. somehow they alwaes look like they r goin shoppin with their ever changing handbags..comparable with tai tais.. really interesting to see the clothes they wear..
secondly, there are some super nice ppl in this fac n also some really snobbish and ultra competitive, cunning ppl too... oh ya make that another v small group of weird ppl who simply have no frequency with the rest...argh.
lastly, accordin to my friend, they simply dunno how to have fun sometimes... like the apparently boring medicamp where they watched CNA when there was nuthin to do...haha!

ha it may well seem like i dislike my fac alot with all the complains..but actually its not that bad, just takes alot to get used to cuz the culture and ppl are just simply different from where i came from...plus no real classes to have like a fixed and close group of mates to truly bond with and most of them noes each other cuz 1/2 the fac is rjcians while another 1/4 or more are from hcjc, vjc n njc... i'm simply "the rest"... really difficult to blend in and be proactive even if u want to! theres some ppl who just dun feel the need to make friends cuz they noe like 1/2 the cohort n i definitely understand that... i mean its a double edged sword to makin more friends here.. u will noe more nice n helpful ppl but also more sly and competitve ppl who might well backstab u when u least expect it... n they wld rather stick to the friends they knew long ago. buttttt.... i'm still thankful for being in this fac n bein on my way to fufill this little dream. =)
